the pieces of a life coiling and twisting

they seemed so far away, and yet I could feel their light. they lit up the darkness, when I used to think I was the only one. 

only, it seemed as if the nightmare had come back to haunt me once more. And this time, it was not in my mind, but part of my reality right in front of me. Breathing and alive. 

despite losing the ability to remember, grandad hadn’t lost the ability to love.

this is the beginning to a story i started a year ago. a story about a storyteller. lost and alone.
